i love it
Photographs remember the little things, long after you have forgotten everything.

I love taking pictures, I just love it. Sometimes I worry its just a new hobby that will eventually tire but my gut tells me that’s not the case. In either event, I love it right now. I am passionate about people and causes, but I’ve never had a passion that really has shaped my life and way of thinking.
A few days ago, I stepped into a restaurant and all I could think about is what aperture I would need to get the best photo of the couple sitting in the corner. I felt myself looking around to see if there were any candles I could move closer to them to add light as though I was actually going to take a picture.
I didn’t even have my camera. Since then, I cannot stop. I do it everywhere.
I love it.
I leave tonight to Las Vegas to see one of my very best friends get married and I want nothing more than to take some photographs that she will love. I get butterflies just thinking about it. Although I don’t yet have all the equipment I need to get all the shots I want, I hope to be able to get some that will make her smile – and make her feel as beautiful as she is.
Well, it’s time to go…I will post pics when I get back! I will leave you with this image of a light I was obsessed with the other night. I felt like a moth. …couldn’t stop staring….
Pretty light…with post assistance from my lovely and talented cousin Heather
Ciao for now friends! xoxo
i need a good flash
…or a tripod! But I prefer a flash. :) I think I may buy one for myself for my b-day this weekend. Yeah.
When I was at Jennifer’s wedding I tried my best to get some good shots but the reception room was a little too dark to keep my camera happy. That rocked because she had some sweet blue uplights – but it didn’t work so much for me…the girl in a dark room w/o the right equipment. hehehee
Here are the three that I liked though….(ask and you shall receive Jenn!!), hope you likey:
This next one is just a big BLUR (it’s a low light thing) – BUT…it is my most favorite big BLUR of all time. To me, it sorta looks like someone took a polaroid through the eyes of a happy drunken wedding guest. :) I’m strange, I know.
I love me some wedding photography. Especially when it’s of my beautiful friends….
